The founder of this Trust had the privilege of studying, Woman Empowerment through Enterprise Development at Durham University Business School with British Council funding. Therefore, the need and expertise matching take center stage here. Traditionally, the women folk are worst suffering in Rural set up. Education is not for all in spite of schools in each village. Some are deliberately deprived because of socio-economic reasons.
There are many other issues involving Rural Women which has to be studied in depth. Dowry, primitive mind set, unequal status for women, keeping them unskilled, giving priority to cooking and other household work, and many more have to be studied to enable them to become befitting partners in Developed India.
