Objective is to study the overall development in the ten villages of the Panchayat. Villagers have access to bank, high school, electricity, piped drinking water supply, good roads but narrow, household with toilets (still many go out in spite of having toilet at home), many are working outside of in towns in and outside the State. Some are even working abroad. Still the overall impression is that it is not a developed Panchayat like the ones you see in Gujarat, Punjab, Kerala and many other States of India.
It has to be studied, what more is needed and how to make the Panchayat a developed one. What are the parameters of development in Rural Sector? Health care is missing both for humans and livestock. There is a river and a canal in the Panchayat. Both are neglected. Local labor force, senior citizens and many more aspects are to be studied including Govt. Schemes with retrospective effect.
